Welcome to Sri Lanka, a land like no other, where this nine days tour of discovery will expose you to the country’s rich history and culture, as well as its wildlife, soft adventures, and secluded beaches with stunning golden sand.
You will be met by your tour guide when you arrive at Colombo CMB Airport, and you will then be taken to your accommodation. The first stop will be the seaside town of Negombo, which has long been regarded as Sri Lanka’s most well-preserved beach and is well-known for its cuisine, entertainment, and traditional fishery village. We haven’t scheduled any activities for day one, so you can unwind at Negombo Beach or by the pool of your cozy hotel. You can walk along the beach in the evening while enjoying the beautiful sunsetting and the relaxing atmosphere of Negombo beach
You Have opportunity to touch the Unesco World Heritage sites and unique Sri Lankan culture, the lush green tea estates and waterfalls in the hills, the wildlife and exciting adventures, the beautiful soft sandy and remote beaches. The first destination will be the Royal Kingdom of Kurunegala. Along the way through lush green rice paddy fields and coconut plantations, don’t forget to stop at a roadside stall to try out some king coconut water. Kurunegala is one of the greatest and oldest civilizations in the world. Built around a granite rock, the remnants of this city show where one of the ancient capitals of medieval Sri Lanka once was. Explore the area with your tour leader before heading to your hotel to relax in the afternoon.
In the morning visit Ritigala Forest Monastery ( subject to change the time or cancel the visit due to weather conditions), this site is perfect for travelers who prefer a non touristic experience; You will have a wonderful walk through unspoiled forests while enjoying the calmness of the surrounding nature. Make sure you have mosquito spray if bites trouble you.
Thereafter, you will enjoy a wonderful cultural village tour while exploring the beautiful countryside (ADMISSION FEES INCLUDED). It will start with a Bullock Cart ride, one of the most ancient and prime transportation systems in Sri Lanka, still used in some villages. While on the tour you will have a canoeing boat ride across the lake and a TukTuk drive before reaching the farmer’s house where you will experience the typical Sri Lankan countryside hospitality. Thereafter, head back to your cosy hotel and relax. If you are interested, you could experience an Ayurvedic herbal massage at your hotel. Overnight stay in a nature-frienly resort at Sigiriya.
After breakfast You will then head to the Matale Spice Garden. Afterward make your way to Kandy, the last kingdom of the Sinhalese. It is situated on a plateau surrounded by mountains that are home to bio diverse rainforests and tea plantations. Kandy is also famous for its sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a walk around Kandy’s busy city center, including a tour of the Central Market, Kandy Lake. Afternoon strolls through Kandy’s bustling city center, including a visit to the Central Market, are included. Next, you’ll take part in a cultural dance performance that draws inspired by Sri Lankan arts, traditional dance, and cultural heritage.
After breakfast, you will visit Tiesh gem museum; Get to know more about the world renowned and most prestigious Sri Lankan gems and crafting in the museum tour. Next; you will visit the Peradeniya Royal Garden, which is known as one of the best botanical garden in Asia.
Thereafter, you’ll enjoy a wonderful journey through the lush green tea plantations and the waterfalls towards Sri Lanka’s tea region of Nuwara Eliya. It is often referred to as “Little England” because many of the buildings in this city retain from the British colonial period, such as the Queen’s Cottage, the General’s House, the Grand Hotel, the Hill Club and the Town Post Office.
While driving through the cold mist hill’s, stop at a tea plantation, step into a tea factory to observe the rich tradition of processing the prestigious brand of Ceylon Tea that kept alive up to date. Make sure to end your Tea factory visit in style over a perfectly blended cup of tea.
In the morning, you will enjoy a spectacular train journey from Nanu-Oya station to Ella village. This journey is known as one of the most scenic hill country train journeys in the world. Your journey starts from Nanu Oya and would reach Ella passing lush greenish tea estates, many tunnels, farming fields, villages, various types of forests, etc.
Ella is in a fantastic, eco-friendly location and is hence everyone’s favourite hill country village. The Nine Arch Bridge, a popular tourist attraction in Ella, was constructed entirely out of solid rocks, bricks, and cement, without the use of any steel at all. Ella is a fantastic location for hiking and trekking, and its most well-known journey is up “Little Adam’s Peak.” You may chill in the village centre at night, where there are lots of restaurants, pubs, and entertainment. Ella is a breathtaking location that anyone who is visiting Sri Lanka should not miss out on.
Afterward continue your journey toward Yala national park, the biggest and most diversified national park in southeast Sri Lanka. Yala is actually treated as two separate parks because it is tricky to cross the river to get to the other side. Two sections make up Yala National Park. The Park’s impressive variety of wildlife, which features sloth bears, leopards, and a wide variety of colorful birds, spans a range of various environments. Take a 4×4 Jeep ride to search for crocodiles patrolling the river, leopards hanging on trees, or wild baby elephants playing around and drinking water.
You have finally arrived at Sri Lanka’s magnificent seaside after an incredible journey through mountains and waterfalls. You will head to Weligama in the morning while you take in the magnificent view of the Indian Ocean. Previously a well-kept secret, is a lovely sandy beach, but more restaurants and bars are now welcoming tourists. White sand beaches and coconut palms that grow right up from the water’s edge give the appearance of a postcard-perfect tropical beach. Once you arrive at your hotel, you could grab a towel and head to the beach to relax while enjoying a cool beer or cocktail under a beach umbrella.
In the morning depart towards the Sinharaja forest, one of the finest natural rain forests in the world, named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s probably one of the oldest living ecosystems, a place that certainly deserves a visit and a place that promises to lives up to its expectations.
This incredibly beautiful place is home to a vast number of animals such as sambar deer’s, wild boars, barking deer, squirrels, monkeys, porcupines, the rare leopard and many other mammals. Also, a fascinating birdlife including 160 species can be found here.
You have finally arrived at Sri Lanka’s magnificent seaside after an incredible journey through mountains and waterfalls, you will head to Mirissa. Early in the morning, hit back to the stunning golden sandy beach, and jump into the boat for an amazing voyage out to sea to discover blue whales and dolphins. Mirissa is one of the best spots in the world to see the biggest creature on the planet. Please note that whale watching is a Season activity.
Previously a well-kept secret, Hikkaduwa is a lovely sandy beach, but more restaurants and bars are now welcoming tourists. White sand beaches and coconut palms that grow right up from the water’s edge give Hikkaduwa the appearance of a postcard-perfect tropical beach. Once you arrive at your hotel, you could grab a towel and head to the beach to relax while enjoying a cool beer or cocktail under a beach umbrella.
In the morning, you will enjoy a Madu river boat tour, which offers several memorable experiences such as Madu River fish therapy. Thereafter, you’ll visit a turtle hatchery center. Both locals and international volunteers are battling for the protection of sea turtles since they are endangered creatures. This vibrant tourist destination, apart from its traditional fishery industries and cinnamon cultivations, was later recognized by the Wildlife Protection Society which studded the region with a Sea Turtle Conservation Project that operates on a formidable scale. Thereafter, you’ll visit the capital city of Colombo, which has an interesting history running back to the fifth century. Even in ancient times, this was an important port city in the East-West sea trade. Nowadays it has become a bustling modern town with a unique atmosphere. The colourful streets, restaurants and modern shopping malls attract hordes of locals and tourists alike.
After breakfast, you have the opportunity to take an optional city walk with your tour guide to visit the most highlighted places in the city and also do some last-minute shopping as well. Perhaps, you may intend to pop into a famous and internationally renowned restaurant in Colombo to end your trip over an unforgettable meal. Thereafter, proceed to the airport in time for the return flight.

Religious places have a strict protocol when it comes to clothes and people should cover themselves up. However, usually you can wear almost anything that goes with the warm climate.
In tropical countries the weather is always unpredictable, so it will be handy to bring a rain jacket.
